Was 2024 going to be the year when you would make those changes, and yet again it hasn’t quite happened as you would hope?

We’ve nearly all been there. Sometimes the reasons are beyond our control. I remember a year I was all set to start a fitness campaign and as the date got closer and closer was excited and ready – but then a family illness struck and we were needed elsewhere and after all the build-up it just wasn’t the same starting in March. 

Sometimes the reasons we don’t get started or maintain our plans are in our control but we don’t realise that they are; they just quietly sabotage the plans that have been evolving in our thoughts, but not happening in action.
